Two teams meet at The Riverside looking for a win in a big game that they need a victory from to get themselves back into the play-off picture. A win for the visitor's Billingham Town would see them leap from Park View AFC.

It would take Town into eight place in the Division and in position to look even further up the table whilst taking Park View down a place as they continue to find it difficult to stay with the top sides in the Division.

Town are having a very solid season this campaign. They are currently in 11th place in the table having played 20 games Won 9 Drawn 3 and Lost 8 for 30 points.

They were on a run of 4 losses in a row before winning their last two League games. Those defeats included a 2nd Round 2 – 1 home loss in the FA Vase against Brigg Town and a 1st Round exit in the Durham Challenge Cup 1 – 0 at Brandon.

In those last two League games they have defeated Sunderland West End 4 – 3 and last Friday night beat Yarm & Eaglescliffe 1 – 0 with a goal from new signing John Stephenson on debut in front of an impressive 259 spectators.

Goals have been a feature of games involving Town this season. There have been 64 recorded in their 20 league games. They’ve scored 36 which is the join 5th highest in the Division and conceded 34 which is the joint 6th most amongst League 2 clubs.

Charlie Watts is their top scorer with 9 netted in total that includes 2 in The FA Vase with Gary Mitchell having 7 goals which includes 1 in the Durham Challenge Cup.

For Park View it’s almost the polar opposite. 24 goals scored only betters the bottom four in the table and is level with Prudhoe. However defensively they continue to do well with only 17 conceded. That's the best in the Division alongside Yarm & Eaglescliffe and Seaham Red Star.

Park View have played 19 games Won 9 Drawn 5 and Lost 5 for 32 points. Top scorer Nathan Conroy has six goals but hasn't scored since August 30th whilst Charlie Loveday with five hasn't scored since September 17th.

A massive disparity in goals in the games which both sides have been involved in. It makes it a difficult game to call and it's going to be fascinating to see which way it goes. Kick-Off at The Riverside is at 7:30pm.
