OUR CLUB
ABOUT US
Park View AFC is proudly built on the foundation of Park View Academy of Sport — a nationally recognised, full-time sports education programme that combines academic excellence with elite football development. The Academy’s success on and off the pitch has made it possible to create a club structure that offers unrivalled progression routes for male and female players aged 16–19. With high-performance coaching, top-class facilities, and an emphasis on long-term player growth, Park View AFC stands as a shining example of what can be achieved when education and elite sport come together.
Our First Team is the flagship side of the club, competing at Step 6 in the National League System. Made up largely of full-time Academy students, the squad competes weekly against semi-professional opposition, offering a challenging but rewarding senior football experience. With access to UEFA A and B licensed coaches, video analysis, strength and conditioning, and match preparation resources, players train and perform in an environment that mirrors the demands of the professional game.
Our Reserve Team plays in the Durham County U23 Floodlit League and is a crucial bridge between youth and senior football. The team provides further opportunities for development in a midweek setting and allows players to sharpen their tactical understanding and physical readiness before stepping into Northern League football. It is a vital layer in the player development model at Park View AFC, supporting the transition to higher levels of the game.
Our U18 Team play in the Durham County U18 League, which offers talented local players the opportunity to compete at a high standard while continuing their education.
Our Women’s First Team competes in the North East Women’s Regional League and is made up of talented players from the Academy’s full-time Women’s Football Programme. The squad gives young women the chance to play senior football in a challenging league while benefiting from the same elite-level training, facilities, and support as their male counterparts. This pathway prepares players for progression into the women’s football pyramid, US scholarships, or university-level football.
