Match Preview - Ebac Northern League Division 2 - Saturday 22nd August 2026 - Jarrow FC (H) - Kick-Off 15:00pm

It's unbeaten Jarrow FC that will visit The Riverside on Saturday afternoon to take on a Park View AFC side that have not now won in their last six games in all competitions.


Jarrow come into the game having won 5 and drawn 3 of their 8 league games played so far giving them 18 points and 3rd place in the table. They are the Division's top scorers with 23 netted and have conceded 8 times.


Their leading scorer is also leading the Second Divison Golden Boot Race. Ex-Park View AFC striker Stephen Siyanbola has hit the back of the net 9 times so far this season. Luca Nelson has also scored 4 times in the league.


Park View after winning their first 2 league games have now drawn 3 and lost 2 of their last 5 giving them 9 points for a 12th placed postition in the table. They have scored 10 and conceded the same amount.


Charlie Loveday and Niall Armstrong the Park View leading scorers both having netted on 3 occasions this season. Loveday though has been out recently with an injury.


The two sides both played in midweek with Park View losing 3 - 0 at league leaders Boldon CA and Jarrow dropping their first home points of the season being held to a 1 - 1 draw by Darlington Town.


Last season Park View did the double over a Jarrow side that actually finished above them in the table and made the play-offs. Goals from Brandon Young and Nathan Conroy giving Park View a 2 - 0 away win at Perth Green in July 2025.


The return fixture at The Riverside in November of the same year saw Park View take a 3 - 1 victory with goals from Ben Gallagher, Jacob Mallinson and Dylan Robson. Jamie Norvell replying for Jarrow.


Saturday's clash which kicks off at 3:00pm will see Jarrow looking to continue their fine early season form whilst for Park View they need to steady their ship and look to get back to winning ways.
