Park View are on their travels for the fourth time this season on Saturday as they go deep into Durham to Ironworks Road the home of Tow Law Town for another tough Ebac Northern League Division 2 encounter.

The Lawyers having dropped down into Division 2 this season after finishing bottom of Division 1 last campaign with 26 points from their 42 games. They are though one of the most historic sides in the Northern League.

First formed in 1890 they joined The Northern League in 1920 and have been there ever since mainly as a First Division side a title they have won on three occasions. They have also won the Second Division on two occasions.

And of course this is the Club where Chris Waddle then working in a sausage factory at the time was transferred to Newcastle United for £1,000. Other players that have gone on from Tow Law to the professional ranks are Kevin Dixon and Steve Howard.

The Lawyers have made a solid if not spectacular start having 4 points from their first four games. Two losses, 1 draw and a 2 - 0 win at Esh Winning where Charlie Herron scored twice. They are currently 15th in The League and lost 4 - 1 at Alnwick Town in midweek.

Park View on the other hand are still unbeaten and with three wins and a draw and a +7 goal difference have ten points to leave them sitting 2nd in the table two points behind the 100% record of the other team relegated from Division 1, Seaham Red Star.

A Nathan Conroy hat-trick and Man of the Match performance in the 6 - 2 home return to The Riverside against Grangetown Boys Club took his personal tally to five goals continuing his and the Team's great start to the season.

But it's still early days and a trip to a 'proper' Northern League ground and environment will prove a tricky test for Park View against a side that are looking to get their season moving in a forward direction.
