Weather permitting and that's a big PERMITTING! Park View AFC will travel to B and W Lifting Stadium to take on Grangetown Boys Club in another crucial League game.

Grangetown are currently sitting in 19th place in the table with 17 points from 23 games made up of 4 wins 5 draws and 14 losses. They have scored 23 league goals and conceded 49.

Their current form sees them having won twice and lost eight times in their last 10 league games. They did win 2 - 0 versus Boldon last time at home in the league.

Also in midweek they beat a very youthful Whitby Town 3 - 0 in the North Riding Cup and in the last few weeks have brought in several new players in a bid to get those crucial points to pull away from the bottom of the table.

Of their 23 league goals Joe Dixon has netted 10 of them to be their leading marksman and main danger. No-one else has scored more than two although Benji Unwin's goal against Whitby Town midweek did give 3 for the season.

Park View in contrast come into the game on the back of four straight home wins and have won seven drawn one and lost only two of their last ten. They are in 5th place with 13 wins 5 draws and 5 defeats from 23 games for 44 points.

They've started to score more goals recently and have now netted 34 times with Stephen Siyanbola now leading the way with 7 netted whilst Charlie Loveday and Nathan Conroy both have 6.

Park View continue to be miserly when it comes to defending and have only conceded 19 goals in the league so far which is the second best in the division at present.

The two sides met early this season on August 6th at The Riverside. A hat-trick from Conroy and strikes from Loveday, Siyanbola and Brandon Young against replies from Joe Shields and a Reyhan Grimaud own goal giving PV a 6 - 2 win.

So, Park View going for the double whilst Grangetown are looking for revenge. Something though tells us that it might be the weather that's the winner before the scheduled 3:00pm kick-off.
