It's 5th versus 7th at the Sovereign Supply Chain Stadium Billingham on Saturday afternoon when the two teams with the best defensive records in a very important game for both sides.

For Park View their 1 - 0 midweek win courtesy of skipper Dylan Wilkinson's header at Boldon CA took them back into 5th position and the last playoff place. Yarm & Eaglescliffe are 7th but only a point behind Park View.

The Y&E won 3 - 1 at Esh Winning in midweek after trailing 1 - 0 at the break. The win took their points tally 27 off only 13 games played with 8 wins 3 draws and only 2 defeats. They have scored 26 goals and only conceded 11.

Yarm have also made it to the First Round Proper of The Isuzu FA Vase after an excellent 1 - 0 away win at Pickering Town last weekend.

Park View have played two games more for their one point advantage with 8 wins 4 draws and 3 defeats. They have scored 21 goals and only conceded 12. So the importance of the game can be seen.

A win for Y&E takes them above PV and still with two games in hand. A Park View win would stretch the gap to 4 points but Yarm & Eaglescliffe would still be able to overtake them if they win both the games in hand.

It all points to a tight cagey defensive affair but if there are to be goals both teams have players that can grab a goal or two to alter any game.

Y&E's top scorer is the prolific Tom Atkinson who has 10 League goals and 1 in The Vase. Ste Roberts is the next goal grabber for the home side with 5 League goals and 1 in The Vase whilst Josh Marshall has netted 4 times in the League.

For Park View Nathan Conroy leads the way with 6 League goals. Charlie Loveday has 5 and last season's top scorer Stephen Siyanbola is currently on 3 goals scored.

It's going to be an intriguing match-up with both teams looking to improve on their positions at the top end of the Division. Kick-Off in Billingham is at 3:00pm.
