On the 5th September Sunderland RCA arrived at The Riverside, Chester-le-Street for an Ebac Northern League Division 2 match-up. They left after a 2 - 0 win with goals from James McGeorge and Ethan Doherty gave them 3 points.

On Saturday the venue changes to Meadow Park, Ryhope as RCA look to take a home win to complete a league double whilst Park View play their third away game in eight days looking for revenge.

The hosts will start the day in 16th place in the table. They have won 4 drawn 1 and lost 9 in the 14 games they have played which has given them 13 points. Scoring wise they have netted 17 goals and conceded 24 times.

Park View meanwhile are sitting in 4th place in the Division having played 17 games winning 8 drawing 4 and losing 5. They have conceded 24 goals and scored 29 times and have 28 points.

It is not just the League table that favours Park View. The form table is also in their favour with 4 wins a draw and a defeat in their last six games which is 4th best in the division.

On the converse RCA are two places better off in 14th in the recent form guide than their league placing. They have won twice and lost four of their last six games.

The leading marksman for both sides are Owen Imeson for RCA who has netted 5 league goals so far. For Park View it is Charlie Loveday who has 12 goals in all competitions. 9 in the league and 3 in the Durham FA County Challenge Cup.

This will be Park View's last game for three weeks in domestic competition as they prepare to go to China and represent England in the College World Cup Championship.

They will be hoping for a win to send them on their travels in good heart whilst RCA are looking for the points to help them climb away from the bottom reaches of the table. Kick-off for another tough looking game is at 3:00pm.
