Match Preview - Tow Law Town (H) - Ebac Northern League Division 2 - Saturday 28th March 2026 - Kick-Off 15:00pm

by Jeff King

It is National Non-League Day on Saturday 28th March 2026 so why not get along to The Riverside in Chester-le-Street to see two of the in-form sides in the Ebac Northern League Division 2 clash?

Tow Law Town are the visitors looking to halt Park View AFC's play-off push and at the same time pick up valuable points that they may still need to avoid any relegation issues as they still are in the danger zone in 19th place.

For Park View the equation is simple. With only three games left in their regular season and currently sitting in 4th position in the Division they simply have to keep winning.

The Lawyers have 32 points from 36 games made up of 9 wins 5 draws and 22 defeats scoring 42 goals and conceding 68. Their top scorer is Harvey Walsh who has 9. Joe Bates and Zac Benjamin both have netted 3.

However, their recent results looked to have given them a chink of light as they have taken 10 points with 3 wins a draw and 1 defeat in their last six. That’s the 8th best record in the League over that period.

For Park View they've consolidated their play-off position with two great wins in the last seven days. Last Saturday a solid and well deserved 2-0 win over Newcastle Uni was followed by a 3-2 win at Darlington Town on Wednesday.

Park View's recent form sees them currently sixth in the form table picking up 11 points from the last six games and are unbeaten in their last five. Stephen Siyanbola their top scorer with 12 goals and Charlie Loveday now has 8.

The reverse fixture between the two sides took place way back on the 9th of August when two late goals from Dylan Robson and Loveday gave Park View a deserved 2-0 win.

Park View would very much like a repeat of that on Saturday whilst The Lawyers will be looking for revenge and to try and reverse that result. Kick-off at The Riverside is at 3:00pm.
