It's a trip down the A19 and across to the Teesside coast for Park View on Tuesday night as the travel to Mo Mowlam Memorial Park to take on league leaders Redcar Town in a top of the table clash.

Redcar have made a superb start to the season and lead the Division by four points after 8 wins 1 draw and 1 defeat to net them 25 points thus far. They've scored 23 goals in those 10 games and only conceded 10.

Their current winning run of six in a row includes a 3 - 2 away win at First Division West Auckland Town in The FA Vase alongside five successive leagu wins. Impressive numbers indeed.

Their dangerman is clearly striker Kyran Clark who has netted 11 league goals so far with fellow striker Kayden Robinson-Coley on 5 league goals plus one in The Vase supporting him well.

Last Saturday they went up to Alnwick Town and came away with an impressive 4 - 2 win Clark and Robinson-Coley with a hat trick their goal scorers. Clearly a side in form and one that will test Park View to the full.

Park View though should travel in good heart and with confidence. Since losing two league games in a row they've now gone four games unbeaten and haven't conceded a goal in that run.

Two league wins and a 0 - 0 draw at Seaham sandwiched another 2 - 0 win in The Vase against Steeton AFC. Saturday's 2 - 0 home win over a strong Ryton & Crawcrook side was a particularly welcome win.

The goals coming from strikers returning from injury. Top scorer Nathan Conroy back in the starting XI notched his 6th league goal of the campaign. Stephen Siyanbola last season's top scorer coming off the bench to register his 3rd of the season.

Park View lie 4th in the Division with 6 wins 2 draws and 2 defeats from their 10 games giving them a total of 20 points so far in the campaign. They have scored 19 times and like their opponents conceded 10 although none in the last four.

Tuesday's game will see both sides completing over 25% of their scheduled games. So, although it's only the first week in September it is perhaps far enough in to predict that both sides look likely contenders this season.

Both sides like to play football and both are attack minded. It should be a great game at a venue that is improving week in week out as ambitious Redcar make waves on and off the pitch. Kick-off for the game is at 7:30pm.
