Match Preview - Billingham Synthonia (A) - Ebac Northern League Division 2 - Saturday 14th March 2026 - Kick-Off 15:00pm

by Jeff King

Park View AFC on their travels again and to a team in the bottom three again. Albeit a side that is almost matching PV in the current form table. Billingham Synthonia being the hosts at Stockton Town's Map Group UK Stadium.

After Wednesday's 0-0 draw at bottom of the table Esh Winning, Park View have now picked up only 8 points from their last 6 games whilst Synners have picked up 7. So, on current form going into the game two equally matched sides.

However in terms of league placings and results two vastly different records. Park View are seventh with 18 wins 8 draws and 9 defeats for 62 points from their 35 games played.

Billingham sitting in 20th place having played the same number of games for 9 wins 4 draws and 22 defeats giving them 25 points. Their total points should be 31 but they were deducted six points earlier in the season for an ineligible player.

Goals wise Park View have scored 50 times with Stephen Siyanbola leading the way on 12 goals and Charlie Loveday with 7. Synners have actually scored more with 59. Sam Irvine having a fine season has 17 league goals and Harry Healy 6.

It's defensively where the difference is. Park View continue to be miserly with only 30 conceded and 17 clean sheets. The second best in the Division. Synners meanwhile have conceded the second most with 81 going past them.

Back on the 15th of November Synners travelled to The Riverside and Park View recorded a fine 3-0 win with goals from Siyanbola, Loveday and Jamie Frizzel. They would dearly love a repeat of that.

A few weeks ago they were just outside the play-off places with games in hand. They've caught up those games in hand but their form hasn't seen them climb up the table so they really need a win on Saturday.

Synners in third bottom also need a win to get them enough points for the end of season relegation calculations. So, like Wednesday a game that neither side wants to draw and both sides are desperate to win.

Kick-off in Stockton on the 3G surface will be at the usual Saturday time of 3:00pm for yet another vitally important game at the business end of the season.
