Ebac Northern League Division 2 - Saturday 12th September 2026 - Seaham Red Star (H) - Kick-Off 15:00pm

It's 15th visiting 10th at The Riverside, Chester-le-Street on Saturday as two teams that have already seen each other this season play an early return fixture. Seaham Red Star being the side that Park View are hosting.

On Tuesday 4th August the two sides clashed at The Alexandra Steakhouse Stadium and played out a 1 - 1 draw. Park View taking the lead through Charlie Loveday on 53 minutes and Alfie Fawcett grabbing a dramatic 93rd minute equaliser for the hosts.

Red Star have played 11 games so far in the League and have won 4 drew 1 (that game on the 4th August) and lost 6. That gives them 13 points for their 15th placed position. They have scored 13 goals and conceded 20.

Their top top scorers are Kai Charlton with 4 goals and Jack Leonard has 3. Interestingly enough both those players scored in the corresponding fixture last season that saw Seaham take a 2 - 0 away win.

However Red Star come into the game on the back of three defeats. In their last two games they have conceded 4 goals. A 4 - 2 home defeat to Darlington Town and last weekend a 4 - 0 away defeat against Boldon CA.

For Park View it's a 10th placed position at the moment after 4 wins 3 draws and 4 losses. They have 15 points as a result and are even steven with their goal difference having conceded 17 and scored 17.

Charlie Loveday has 5 league goals and Niall Armstrong has 4. Both though were also on target with a brace apiece in midweek. That was in the Durham County FA Challenge Cup where Park View beat Sunderland West End 6 - 0.

A good bounceback for Park View who had been defeated 2 - 0 at home last weekend by Sunderland RCA. They will be looking to get back to winning ways in the league to move into the top half of the Division.

Seaham on the other hand could leapfrog their hosts with a win and end that 3-game losing streak. All to play for then with both teams anticpating a tough battle that will kick-off at The Riverside at 3:00pm on Saturday.
